Nothing much has happened this week in the world of F1. It is in these sorts of weeks, though, where the news gets a little stale and gives us, as fans, a great opportunity to take a look at typical F1 journalism. Lets start with the daily websites that publish short pieces that are generally taken from other, more established, sources, or from team press releases. Examples of this are www.eventsfordrivers.com (my own site), f1sa.com, and autosport.com. There are, of course, many others, but these consistently pull the most stories and include the most rumor/ gossip material.
To find quality in F1 writing there are some veterans of the sport that run their own blogs. joesaward.wordpress.com is one and jamesallenonf1.com is another. You may recognize James Allen as a current commentator from the BBC, a job he actually reclamed after some years off the job.
Just some hopefully helpful tips.
